The Duracell's has a led indicator to show wattz, amp, etc. Working smooth so far.I bought a black decker, and a duracell before this to try out. Not much to say, been using this for a month or 2 to use my laptop at work (in my car). but 10$ more expensive, doesn't worth it.Highly recommended. The xantrex trampled over both of them. (The duracell's is actually made by Xantrex, check their website and u will see). 2 things to note: The fan's noise is "noticeable" but not loud; and you have to clamp directly to the battery if you wanna run anything bigger than an ordinary laptop (gaming laptops require higher wattages ,70w+). So anything over 70w, the cigarette lighter plug can't handle it, doesn't matter what inverter/battery/car you have, end of story.
I use it to charge my cell phone to and from work, but have not used it in an emergency situation, yet.
No power whatsoever. I was a bit dismayed when I first opened the product and tried it out. It was dead on arrival. But when I contacted Amazon and reported this problem, they quickly apologized and had a replacement sent out in 2 days. The replacement works fine, and I was very pleased with the overall process.
This inverter worked as advertised. We used it on a long trip from Maryland to Toronto Canada. It kept all the laptops used by my kids powered up which kept them entertained on the trip to Canada and on the way back. Unit is very quite inspite of the built-in fan.
The inverter works as advertised and the priced is fair. I use it to run a laptop computer on my boat. The only negative is the noise produced by the fans. I would recommend this product to a friend.
